Alta is one of the few remaining ski resorts for skiers only and where the true feeling of lodge life has not been lost.
Since the early 1900’s, before lifts were even invented, skiers would hike these mountains for the “Greatest Snow on Earth”. Luckily today, the 7 lifts and 4 surface tows access 2200 acres of unforgettable powder and groomed runs.
Note - Snowboarding is not permitted at Alta.
