About Ski Telluride, Colorado

Telluride Colorado Ski Resort Lift Tickets, Hotels and Lodging Accommodations

Telluride is located in southwest Colorado's majestic San Juan Mountains. What began as a turn-of-the-century mining community has evolved into a world-renowned resort. Located on the scenic San Juan Skyway in southwest Colorado, the City of Telluride and Telluride Mountain Village are 67 miles south of Montrose, where there is a regional airport.

The town of Telluride is a National Historic Landmark District with Victorian-era architecture. Located at the base of Telluride Ski Mountain and surrounded by 13,000-foot (almost 4,000-meter) peaks. Telluride is connected to the Mountain Village by a free gondola, which runs day and evening. Located mid-mountain at 9,500 feet above sea level, the Mountain Village overlooks some of Colorado's most magnificent peaks and offers many options for ski-in, ski-out lodging.

Telluride offers a genuine mountain experience for all levels of skiers thanks to a mix of quality terrain at all points on the mountain. From refined groomed runs to challenging moguls, there truly is something for everyone. Even beginners and intermediate skiers can ride to the highest peaks and enjoy terrain and views typically reserved for the experts. Find out why Telluride has been called, "The most beautiful place you'll ever ski."

And forget the crowds - you will enjoy lots of freedom and space on the mountain - rarely is there any queues for the lifts!
