Limelight Lodge

At the corner of Monarch Street and Cooper Avenue in downtown Aspen, the brand new Limelight Lodge is a unique, affordable ski lodge that offers the same wonderful service and value as it did 50 years ago, but with new accommodations and modern amenities in a setting that has become even more central to the best attractions in Aspen. Whether you choose the comfort of a standard guest room with a comfy king-sized bed or the spacious luxury of a two-bedroom condo with a full kitchen and private terrace, you'll find that the hotel rooms offer accommodations that are a magical blend of rustic inn comfort and modern convenience. The guest rooms are both comfortable and functional, with enough space for groups and gear, as well as modern amenities to make Limelight feel like a home away from home.

All rooms also feature in-room movies and games, and DVD players are available for rent. Small conveniences such as an iron and ironing board, bathrobes, fridge and wet-bar are an added bonus.

Limelight Lodge “Inside Tracks” and “First Tracks.”

The Limelight Lodge is thrilled to announce that Inside Tracks and First Tracks will return for the 2012 Winter Season! Inside Tracks is a complimentary, on‐mountain guide service offered in partnership with Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass for Limelight Lodge guests. First Tracks allows guests of the Limelight Lodge exclusive access to Aspen Mountain before the opening of the gondola to the general public. This is not a lesson, but the pros will offer tips and assistance to ensure that guests have an exceptional time. This program is ideal for the guest who is interested in a full day of skiing/riding while being in a cooperative group setting.

Inside Tracks:

• Time: Guests will depart Limelight Lodge at 8:45 a.m. and will return by 3:30 p.m.
• Transportation: Provided by Limelight Lodge
• Capacity: 14 guests per day.
• Registration: We will register 6 guests per day in advance. This will allow 8 spaces for guests to register for when they arrive. Guests may register with the Front Desk at the Limelight Lodge.
• Guests may pre‐register for one Inside Tracks session per stay. Additional sessions will be allowed based on availability.
• The ski areas featured will be Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, and Snowmass. Guests will visit one ski area per day.
• Participants must be an overnight guests, 18 or older and an intermediate skier/rider or above.
• Days: 2 days per week: Monday and Thursday, January 5, 2012‐March 29, 2012. Blackout dates January 23, January 26, and February 20

“First Tracks” allows guests of the Limelight Lodge exclusive access to Aspen Mountain before the opening of the gondola to the general public, so you can enjoy skiing/riding fresh powder with a small number of other guests.

First Tracks:

• Days: “First Tracks” takes place every Friday beginning January 6, 2012.
• Time: Guests will depart The Limelight at 8 a.m. and must be loading the gondola at 8:15 a.m.
• Transportation: Provided by Limelight Lodge
• Capacity: Limited to 5 guests.
• Registration: We will register guests at the Front Desk or at Ski Concierge. Registration is required.
• Participants must be overnight gusts, 18 or older and an intermediate skier/rider or above.
