Park City, UT - Snowboarding phenomenon Shaun White dominated Park City Mountain Resort's unique new Intelligent Design freeride contest on Saturday, inching closer to a potential second TTR World Snowboard Tour title by entering the tour's Top 5. Close behind White was Canadian shredder Charles Reid, who finished second in Utah and moved up into World No. 7 with U.S. rider Luke Mitrani rounding out the podium in third. The Intelligent Design took elements from Slopestyle, Halfpipe and Quarterpipe and put them all into one run as a catalyst for creativity. The course in Park City Mountain Resort's Pick 'N Shovel Terrain Park and Eagle Superpipe consisted of a 60-foot kicker, hip jump, jib section, and a 350-foot long, 22-foot pipe with jibs on each deck before the course finished with a Quarterpipe at the end. |
